ANY ELECTED OFFICIALS running for office who are interested in expressing their support for Medical Marijuana, can submit a 3-4 sentence explanation about why they support medical marijuana and what they hope to see for marijuana policy if elected in their area. Please also include a list of all important election dates. Florida for Care will do its best to assess these submissions and provide information on favorable candidates views to our supporters in their areas, prior to the upcoming elections.

We created a trophy for 2020 winners and for 2021 we have also added Peoples choice. Florida can nominate and Vote for their favorite item in August, September, and this ends in 10/7/21 and then these will be awarded. Everyone can vote for people's choice and it can include a product, company or person from any category, but past winners of community educator and Community Physician Champions are voting on all other awards along with staff once anyone sends in nominations and we tally the highest nominated to the top 6 for voting. Only 1 vote per person. Full history and details of this is below.

The history of these awards is United for Care/Florida for Care began being internally voted on by our Board and staff end of year November event in 2013. After we passed Florida’s medical cannabis amendment these grew. Once Operators and products became available we had to add a few more, The Original 6 Categories Were below. This year we also added peoples choice
